Re-admission to a Postgraduate Course after an Absence

Macquarie University students returning to the SAME program after an absence (and who were not enrolled in 2007) should use the Postgraduate Application for Re-admission

If your request for re-admission is successful you will be admitted into the current version of your program. If you are applying to return to a program in which you were given Early Withdrawn results for all units, you should not complete a Re-admission Application, but should complete a new admission application form.

International Students

International students wanting to undertake a postgraduate coursework degree will find all the information they need to apply at the Macquarie International website.

International students should also contact the Australian diplomatic post in their own country to ascertain procedures for obtaining an appropriate visa.

Research Degrees

The Higher Degree Research Office (HDRO) manages applications for admission and all enrolment procedures for both domestic and international students who are interested in undertaking a research degree at Macquarie University.

Pathways to Research Degrees

A Postgraduate Certificate in Research Preparation (PGCertResPrep) is now available for applicants who may not meet the admission criteria and/or do not have adequate research experience or background in their chosen discipline to commence a research degree immediately.

Applications for preliminary programs are made through the Postgraduate Studies Section for domestic students and through Macquarie International for international students.
